The steel ball quality inspection process mainly includes the following steps: Appearance quality inspection: First, check the surface quality of the steel ball to observe whether there are obvious defects such as cracks, depressions, bubbles, etc. These defects will affect the performance and life of the steel ball.
Size and weight detection: Use precise measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to measure the diameter, roundness, weight and other indicators of the steel ball and compare them with the standard values. If there is a large deviation, it means that there is a problem with the size and weight of the steel ball.
Hardness test: Use a hardness tester to measure the hardness value of the steel ball to determine whether it meets the standard requirements. The hardness value is related to factors such as chemical composition and heat treatment process.
Chemical composition analysis: Use modern equipment such as inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) to analyze the chemical composition of the steel ball to ensure that its composition meets the prescribed chemical composition standards.
Metallurgical structure analysis: Use optical microscopes and other equipment to observe the metallographic structure of the steel ball, evaluate its organizational morphology, grain size, phase distribution, etc., to understand its mechanical properties and wear resistance.
Physical property test: Including tensile and bending tests to evaluate whether the physical properties of the steel ball meet the requirements. These test results are related to the wear resistance, mechanical properties and vibration characteristics of the steel ball.
Wear resistance test: Test the wear resistance of the steel ball under actual use conditions to ensure its performance in long-term use.
Fatigue test: Evaluate the service life of the steel ball under repeated stress conditions to ensure its stability under high load.
