The Forged Grinding Ball is a high-quality product designed for various grinding applications in industries such as mining, cement plants, power stations, and chemical industries. Characteristics of forged steel balls: a. The interior is tight. Since it is forged from round steel, it avoids defects caused by
the process in the cast state. The internal density is high and the fine grain size is high, which enhances the ball's drop
resistance and impact toughness, thereby reducing the ball's breakage. rate; the impact toughness is 4-5 times that of cast balls.
This technical parameter determines that the breakage rate of forged balls is much lower than that of cast balls; b. Both dry and
wet grinding are possible. Because high-quality alloy steel is heated at high temperature in a heating furnace to obtain
austenite, martensite is obtained through forging, rotary cutting, rolling, and quenching. After tempering, stress relief and
decomposition of residues are achieved. Austenite changes the matrix structure, thereby greatly improving its corrosion resistance
and significantly enhancing its hardness and toughness; c. In view of the situation where mines are mostly wet grinding, this
steel ball is suitable for the working conditions. d. Cast balls are "heat-resistant" balls (suitable for dry grinding), and
forged balls are "corrosion-resistant" balls (suitable for wet grinding). Most forged balls are used internationally.
